Measure the disc at 12 points with a micrometer at a radius approximately one inch from edge of disc. If thickness measurements vary by more than .0005 inch, replace the disc.

- Disconnect brake lines from master cylinder, then all required electrical connectors.
- Disconnect hydraulic control unit supply hose at master cylinder. Secure hose in a position to prevent brake fluid loss.
- Remove two bolts which attach proportioning valve bracket to brake master cylinder. Secure proportioning valve and tubes in a position to prevent damage or loss of brake fluid.
