  • Remove fan shroud as described under "Water Pump, Replace."
  • On models equipped with automatic transmission, remove ATF cooler lines.
  • On all models, remove upper frame crossmember, protective blower grille and air deflecting elements.
  • Remove condenser from radiator and leave on vehicle with lines connected.
  • Remove radiator hoses.
  • Remove radiator.
  • Reverse procedure to install. Insert attachment lugs in rubber grommets of lower cross member.

Fuel System Pressure Relief

Do not smoke or allow an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel system related components. The highly flammable vapor mixtures may ignite, resulting in serious personal injury.

Prior to disconnecting fuel lines, the fuel system pressure must be relieved to prevent accidental fuel spray.

    • Torque propeller shaft to transfer case bolts to 29 ft. lbs.
