- Wipe reservoir cap clean, remove cap and inspect reservoir cap and diaphragm for cuts, nicks or deformation. Replace damaged components, as required
- Drain reservoir brake fluid into suitable container.
- On models equipped with anti-lock brakes, remove modulator and motor pack.
- On all models, remove brake fluid level sensor.
- Remove reservoir as outlined under "Component Replacement."
- While depressing master cylinder piston, remove retainer clip, Fig. .
