- Remove radiator fan and condenser fan.
- Remove radiator upper mountings.
- Disconnect refrigerant lines at condenser, then cap all openings. Discard O-rings.
- Remove condenser upper mounting, then move radiator to engine side and condenser to radiator side.
- Remove condenser mounting bolts and the condenser.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- If condenser is replaced, add 1.4 oz. of new refrigerant oil to compressor.

Refrigerant System
To diagnose system, connect manifold gauge set to high and low sides of system, then observe gauge readings with engine operating at 1500 RPM, blower speed on high and temperature control set at Max Cool. Refer to charts, Figs. through , for system diagnosis.
On all models except Sequoia, with ambient temperature at 86-95°F, high side reading should be 200-228 psi and low side reading should be 21-35 psi.

- Remove receiver filter cap using a suitable hex wrench.
- Note position, then discard filter cap O-rings.
- Note position, then remove drier using suitable pliers.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Do not use old O-rings. Always install new ones lubricated with fresh refrigerant oil.
- Install new drier and filter in proper positions.
- Torque filter cap to 108 inch lbs.
