DRIVELINE, U-JOINT & CV AXLES REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2003 Acura CL AUTOMOBILES
Includes CV axle, universal joint, and driveline replacement, for domestic and imported 2003 Acura CL cars and light trucks from 1990+.
CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace -> Front
Vehicle: 2003 Acura CL S 3.2 V6 GAS
Front
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Drain transmission fluid into a suitable container, then reinstall drain plug using new washer.
- Lift up locking tab on spindle nut then remove nut.
- Hold stabilizer ball joint pin with hex wrench and remove flange nut then separate from stabilizer link from lower arm.
- Remove self-locking nut with 12mm dampner fork mounting bolt and 10mm dampner pinch bolt then remove dampner fork.
- Remove cotter pin from lower arm ball joint castle nut and remove nut then separate lower ball join...
