- Remove armature plate bolt and washer, Fig. .
- Do not reuse armature plate bolt.
- Install removal tool No. 09991-06030, or equivalent, Fig. , remove armature plate.
- Remove pressure plate and shims from shaft, then using suitable snap ring pliers, remove circlip.
- Remove magnet clutch lead wire clamp screw and wire.

- With engine cool, remove radiator cap.
- Refill c9ooling system to specifications, mixing coolant concentration to a 50-50 mix.
- Loosen air bleed bolt as outlined in, Figs. and , then fill radiator to bottom of filler neck.
- Torque bleed bolt to 84 inch lbs., as soon as coolant starts to runout in steady stream without bubbles.

- Recover refrigerant as outlined in , then remove front bulkhead cover and hood latch.
- Remove clips and bolts form upper radiator mount brackets, then brackets.
- Disconnect receiver and discharge lines from condenser, then plug or cap lines to prevent contamination.
- Remove and discard O-rings from each fitting.
- Remove bolts from condenser mounting brackets, then condenser by lifting up.
