- Remove fan module to radiator clips and fasteners, Fig. .
- Remove assembly from radiator, then remove fan blades as follows:
- Support motor and motor shaft on a suitable bench.
- Remove fan retaining clip or nut. Surface or burr removal may be required before removing fans from shaft. Do not let fan blades touch bench when removing.
- Remove motor fasteners from support, then the motor from support.

- Remove front wheel and tire assembly from vehicle.
- Remove front caliper assembly from front steering knuckle assembly.
- Remove front braking disk (rotor) from hub, by pulling it straight off wheel mounting studs.
- Remove speed sensor cable routing bracket from strut assembly.
- Remove hub and bearing to stub axle retaining nut.
- Install a suitable puller or special tool 6790 or equivalent, on hub and bearing assembly, using wheel lug nuts to secure it in place.
