The cabin air filter should be replaced every 30,000 miles or 24 months. The filter should be replaced more often if air flow is less than normal.
- Remove the cabin air filter cover from the heater duct, Fig. .
- Remove the cabin air filter housing from the heater duct.
- Remove the cabin air filter element from the housing, Fig. .
- Position the new cabin air filter into the filter housing. Ensure the air flow markings (arrows) on the filter element and filter housing are facing in the same direction, Fig. .
