DRIVELINE, U-JOINT & CV AXLES REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2003 Honda Odyssey AUTOMOBILES
Includes CV axle, universal joint, and driveline replacement, for domestic and imported 2003 Honda Odyssey cars and light trucks from 1990+.
CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace -> Front
Vehicle: 2003 Honda Odyssey EX 3.5 V6 GAS
Front
- Loosen wheel nuts slightly.
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Lift up locking tab on spindle nut then remove nut.
- Drain transmission fluid, then reinstall drain plug using new washer.
- Remove lock pin from lower arm ball joint castle nut and remove nut then separate lower ball joint lower arm from using ball joint thread protector and remover.
- To avoid damaging ball joint, install ball joint thread protector onto threads of ball joint stud. Be careful not to damage ball joint boot when instal...
