- Recover refrigerant as outlined in .
- Remove coolant reservoir. Do not disconnect hose.
- Remove mounting bolts and radiator upper mount brackets.
- Remove mounting bolts, then disconnect discharge and condenser lines. Cap or plug lines.
- Remove mounting bolts, upper mounting brackets and condenser. Do not damage radiator and condenser fins during removal.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Install new O-rings lubricated with suitable refrigerant oil.

- Remove instrument panel as outlined in "Heater Core, Replace."
- On models equipped with air conditioning, remove evaporator as outlined in "Evaporator Core, Replace."
- On models less air conditioning, remove mounting screws, nut and bolts, then the heater duct.
- On all models, disconnect blower motor, blower resistor and recirculation control motor connectors. Remove wire harness clip.
- Remove mounting nuts, bolt and blower unit.
- Reverse procedure to install. Torque mounting screws, bolts and nuts to 86 inch lbs.
