Connect a Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB) or equivalent scan tool to the vehicle's Data Link Connector (DLC). The DLC is located under the lefthand side of the instrument panel, righthand of the steering column. After connecting the scan tool, follow scan tool instructions.
Using ATC Control Head
Depress the A/C and Recirc buttons at the same time and rotate the lefthand temperature control knob clockwise one detent, then release the push-button.

- Remove rear wheel and tire assemblies.

- Disconnect track bar from rear axle, then the shock absorbers.
- Loosen, but do not remove, both leaf spring to front spring hanger pivot bolts.
