- Recover refrigerant as outlined under .
- Loosen accumulator retaining band screw, then disconnect accumulator inlet tube from evaporator outlet tube.
- Reposition accumulator for access to blower motor harness connector.
- On all models, disconnect blower motor electrical connector.
- Remove three screws attaching blower motor to heater and A/C housing.
- Rotate and tilt blower motor and wheel assembly as needed to remove from housing.

- Raise and support vehicle, then remove front wheel.
- Press caliper piston to bottom of bore using suitable screwdriver or c-clamp.
- Disconnect brake hose at caliper and cap hose.
- On 1999 models, remove caliper spring support by prying spring out of caliper
- On all models, remove caliper slide pin bushing caps and slide pins.
