STARTER & ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2003 Mazda MPV AUTOMOBILES

Vehicle: 2003 Mazda MPV 3.0 V6 GAS
2WD Models
- Disconnect battery ground cable at battery.
- Remove battery.
- Remove air cleaner assembly.
- Disconnect selector cable assembly.
- Remove terminal wires B+ and S from starter solenoid.
- Remove starter.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque solenoid terminal nut to 84-108 in. lbs.
- Torque starter mounting bolts to 28-38 ft. lbs.
