- Ensure rear caliper parking brake arm contacts pin.
- Pull parking brake lever up one notch and tighten adjusting nut until rear wheels drag slightly when turned.
- Release parking brake lever and ensure rear wheels do not drag when turned.

- Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assemblies.
- Remove brake hose bracket from knuckle.
- Hold caliper pin with suitable wrench, then remove mounting bolt and pivot caliper up away from rotor.
- Remove shims, brake pads and retainers.
- Clean caliper, then inspect caliper and rotor for damage, cracks and grooves.
- Install pad retainers.
- Apply Molykote M77, or Daikalub 528D grease, or equivalent, to pad side of shims A, both sides of shims B, back of pads and other contact surfaces. Wipe excess grease off shims and pads.
