Honda -> Component Replacement & Adjustment -> Receiver/Dryer, Replace -> Accord -> Civic & CR-V -> S2000

Accord

  • Recover refrigerant as outlined in .
  • Remove condenser. Refer to "Condenser, Replace."
  • Remove refrigerant hose fittings from receiver/dryer. Plug or cap lines to prevent contamination.
  • Remove receiver/dryer bracket attaching bolts, then the receiver/dryer and bracket from condenser.
  • Remove receiver/dryer from bracket.
  • Reverse procedure to install. Torque refrigerant hose fittings to 86 inch lbs.

Honda -> Component Replacement & Adjustment -> Cabin Air Filter, Replace -> Accord -> Civic -> CR-V -> Element, Odyssey & Pilot -> S2000

  • Remove glove compartment as outlined in "Heater Core, Replace."
  • Remove mounting bolt, screws and glove compartment frame.
  • Remove evaporator core lid and filter assembly.
  • Remove filter from assembly.
  • Reverse procedure to install.

Civic

  • Open glove compartment, remove stops and hang compartment down.
  • Remove filter lid from blower unit.
  • Pull first dust and pollen filter out, then slide second filter to lefthand side and remove.
  • Remove filter from housing.
  • Reverse procedure to install.
