- Inspect stator by setting ohmmeter to X1000 ohm range and verify that there is continuity between stator connector and A/C compressor body.
Replacement
- Remove center bolt, Fig. .
- Remove pressure plate and shims.
- Install snap ring pliers or equivalent, remove snap ring.
