  • Engage parking brake, then raise and support vehicle.
  • Remove wheels and brake drum nuts, then release parking brake lever.
  • Loosen parking brake cable locking nut, then lift rear part of brake lever cover to access brake cable.
  • Remove brake drum by fitting two 8 mm bolts into holes on drum and extracting drum off wheel hub.
  • Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
    • Depress brake pedal five times to obtain proper drum to shoe clearance.
    • Adjust parking brake cable as outlined under .
