CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace -> Front
Vehicle: 2005 Hyundai Tucson LX 2.7 V6 GAS
Front
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Remove split pin and driveshaft castle nut and washer from front hub.
- Disconnect wheel speed sensor from knuckle.
- Disconnect tie rod end ball joint from steering knuckle using suitable tool.
- Disconnect ball joint from knuckle using suitable tool.
- Remove lower arm ball joint mounting bolts.
- Disconnect driveshaft from axle hub using plastic hammer.
- Push axle hub outward and separate driveshaft from axle hub.
