- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove engine splash shield.
- Insert a suitable drift or punch through brake caliper and into brake rotor to prevent wheel hub and bearing from turning.
- Remove wheel drive shaft spindle nut.
- Remove stabilizer shaft link.
- Disconnect outer tie rod end from steering knuckle. Do not loosen tie rod end jam nut.
- Disconnect wheel speed sensor electrical connector, then reposition wiring harness away from ball joint.
- Disconnect lower ball joint from steering knuckle.
