This procedure describes a driveline equipped with cardan joint in tube yoke. Driveline equipped with companion/slip yoke repeat steps to remove remaining cardan joint.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove 11 clips and radiator support seal upper.
- Remove fan and alternator V belt.
- Separate two oil cooler hoses from fan shroud.
- Remove three bolts and separate fan shroud from radiator.
- Remove four nuts and separate fan with fluid coupling from engine.
- Remove fan shroud and fan with fluid coupling from vehicle at same time.
- Disconnect vacuum hose.
