Vehicle: 2006 Acura RL 3.5 V6 GAS
On models equipped with anti-lock codes for audio system, write down code for audio presets. When connecting battery ground cable upon installation you will need to enter the preset code. Ensure ignition switch is turned off.
- Disconnect battery ground cable at battery.
- Remove bolts from upper fender trim, battery trim, and left upper fender trim then remove upper grille cover.
- Raise vehicle on suitable lift.
- Remove 12 retainers from engine splash shield.
- Remove wiring harness clamps and connector from A/C condenser fan shroud.
- Loosen bottom bolts securing fan shroud.
