Brake fluid is corrosive to painted surfaces. Care must be taken not to allow brake fluid to come in contact with painted surfaces on vehicle.
When bleeding the brake system, always bleed righthand rear wheel circuit first, followed by the lefthand front, lefthand rear and, finally, righthand front.

- Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
- Remove tire and wheel assembly.
- Insert a drift or punch into brake rotor cooling fins and against brake caliper to prevent wheel hub and bearing from turning. Remove spindle nut retaining rear wheel drive shaft to hub.
- Remove spindle nut retaining rear wheel drive shaft to hub.

- Separate outer tie rod end from knuckle and reposition tie rod toward rear of vehicle.

- Raise and support vehicle with jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- Prior to dismounting the tire from the wheel, note the following precautions:
- Position the bead breaking fixture 90° from the valve stem when separating the tire bead from the wheel.
- Place the mounting and dismounting head so that the tire iron or pry bar can be inserted slightly clockwise of the sensor body when prying the tire bead up and over the head.
