Vehicle: 2006 Porsche Cayman S 3.4 H6 GAS
- Release axle nut with vehicle on ground, have an assistant operate the brake.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove wheel.
- Remove rear muffler.
- Install protection for drive shaft.
- Release drive shaft on inside at transmission (both sides) and connect, e.g. with tie-wrap. This will prevent damage to the drive shaft, suspension subframe or transmission flange.
