Fuel System Pressure Relief
- Loosen fuel tank filler cap to relieve tank pressure.
- Connect a suitable fuel pressure gauge to fuel pressure service port located on fuel rail. Wrap a shop towel around fitting while connecting gauge to avoid fuel spillage.
- Install bleed hose into a suitable container, then open valve to bleed fuel system pressure.
- After fuel system has bleed down, remove fuel pressure gauge.
- Disconnect battery ground cable.

- Unlock steering column so that steering linkage is free to move.
- Raise the vehicle. Support vehicle with suitable safety stands.
- Remove front tire and wheel assemblies.
- In order to prevent drive axle from turning, insert a drift through brake caliper and into one of the rotor vanes.
- Remove axle nut and washer.
- Remove drift from brake rotor.
- Remove front brake rotors and support caliper with piece of wire in order to prevent damage to brake hose.
