Brake System Bleed
Front brake calipers must be bled first.
- Fill fluid reservoir to the top.
- Connect a length of transparent hose to right front caliper bleed nipple and place other end of hose into a clear container.
- While depressing brake pedal, open bleed nipple. Repeat until there are no more air bubbles visible in hose.
- Connect hose to left front caliper and repeat bleed process.
- Connect hose to rear caliper, switch on ignition and repeat bleed process. Pump motor must not run for more than two minutes at a time. After motor has been running, let it cool for approximately 10 minut...

Fuel System Pressure Relief
- On 2003-06 models, remove fuel pump fuse No. 2 from engine compartment fuse box.
- On 1999-02 models, remove fuel pump fuse No. 32 from the instrument panel fuse box.
- On all models, start the engine and run until it stalls.
- Turn the ignition Off.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Install the fuel pump fuse.
Removal & Installation
Do not smoke or allow an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel system related components. The highly flammable vapor mixtures may ignite, resulting in serious personal injury.
