DRIVELINE, U-JOINT & CV AXLES REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2007 KIA Spectra AUTOMOBILES
Includes CV axle, universal joint, and driveline replacement, for domestic and imported 2007 KIA Spectra cars and light trucks from 1990+.
CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace
Vehicle: 2007 KIA Spectra EX 2.0 L4 GAS
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Remove drain plug and drain transaxle fluid in suitable container.
- Remove driveshaft cotter pin, castle nut and washer from front hub.
- Disconnect tie rod end ball joint from steering knuckle using suitable tool.
- Remove bolts securing wheel speed sensor from steering knuckle.
- Disconnect strut upper mounting bolts.
- Tap on driveshaft front hub assembly using plastic hammer.
- Push front hub assembly outward and separate driveshaft from hub assembly.
- Insert suitable tool ...
