Remove retainer securing air cleaner duct then pull up on duct to remove.
Raise vehicle on suitable lift.
Do not separate cooler line from cooler assembly. Secure cooler line with a cord in a location that will not interfere with removal of starter motor. Remove bolts securing automatic transaxle cooler line bracket assembly.
Remove bolts securing starter cover then remove cover.
Remove bolt securing starter cover bracket then remove bracket.
Remove nut from starter cable B+ terminal and disconnect wire connector from solenoid S-terminal.
