- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Raise vehicle on suitable lift.
- Remove bolts for engine front undercover then remove undercover.
- Rotate or lift belt tensioner arm clockwise, using a suitable tool to relieve tension from drive belt. Do not turn belt tensioner counterclockwise. If this step is not followed replacement of belt tensioner and new pulley is required.

- Disconnect battery cables.
- Raise vehicle on suitable lift.
- Drain engine coolant by loosening drain plug on bottom of radiator. Never drain coolant when engine is hot to avoid being scalded . Drain coolant from radiator into a clean suitable container.
- Remove bolts securing engine cover.
- Remove righthand front wheel nuts.
- Remove bolts from righthand engine undercover then remove undercover.
