Front
- Place vehicle in neutral.
- Release parking brake.
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Place reference mark on front driveline shaft flange yoke and companion flange of front final driveline. Paint is recommended for match marks. Never damage flange yoke and companion flange of front final drive.
- Remove bolts and then remove front driveline from front final drive and transfer case from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque wheel lug nuts to 80 ft. lbs.

Activation
The activation procedure must be performed after replacing or rotating tire and wheels, replacing tire pressure sensor or BCM.
- With Nissan sensor activation tool J-45295, or equivalent, pushed against the LF sensor, press and hold the activation tool button 5 seconds, Fig.
- With the ignition switch On, as the low tire pressure warning lamp blinks, Fig. , the respective sensor then must be initialized.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove bolts for engine cover.
- Remove air cleaner hose intake clamps, disconnect MAP sensor connector and remove bolts securing housing assembly.
- Loosen automatic transaxle cooler hose clamps and carefully remove cooler hoses. Drain fluid from hoses into clean suitable container and plug end of hoses to prevent foreign material from entering inside.
- Raise vehicle on suitable lift.
- Remove bolts for engine front undercover then remove undercover.
- Release tabs inwards and pull radiator shroud rearward to remove.

The Low Tire Pressure Warning lamp will illuminate briefly as a bulb check when the ignition switch is placed in the on position. This system uses radio frequency pressure sensors which monitor pressure in all 4 tires. When operating the vehicle at a speed above 25 mph the Low Tire Pressure Warning Lamp will illuminate when low tire pressure has been detected. After all tires have been inflated to the proper pressure and vehicle has been operated the warning lamp should turn off unless a fault in the Low Tire Pressure warning system has developed.
