- Disconnect battery ground cable. After removing battery ground cable wait 90 seconds to prevent air bag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- Raise vehicle on suitable lift.
- Remove screws from righthand fender apron seal.
- Rotate or lift belt tensioner arm clockwise using a suitable tool to relieve tension from drive belt.
