- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove engine cover sub-assembly.
- Remove No. 1 engine under cover.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container by loosening drain plug of radiator.
- Remove No. 2 air cleaner inlet.
- Remove battery.
- Remove front bumper assembly.
- Remove front bumper energy absorber.
- Remove No. 1 air cleaner inlet.
- Disconnect radiator reserve tank hose or pipe from radiator.
- Disconnect both connections of No. 1 radiator hose from radiator.
- Disconnect No. 2 radiator hose from radiator.
- Disengage four claws and remove hood lock release lever protector.
