Vehicle: 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS 2.4 L4 GAS
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove retainer securing air cleaner duct then pull up on duct to remove.
- Raise vehicle on suitable lift.
- Do not separate cooler line from cooler assembly. Secure cooler line with a cord in a location that will not interfere with removal of starter motor. Remove bolts securing automatic transaxle cooler line bracket assembly.
- Remove bolts securing starter cover then remove cover.
- Remove bolt securing starter cover bracket then remove bracket.
- Remove nut from starter cable B+ terminal and disconnect wire connector from solenoid S-terminal.
