The MIL will illuminate to indicate that a system fault has been detected. The MIL will blink simultaneously with the red Light Emitting Diode (LED) on the Electronic Control Module (ECM). Following diagnosis and repair of all system faults, reset the MIL lamp. The DTCs can be cleared by placing the ignition switch in the off position. The Low Tire Pressure Warning lamp will illuminate briefly as a bulb check when the ignition switch is placed in the on position. This system uses radio frequency pressure sensors which monitor pressure in all 4 tires. When operating the vehicle at a speed above 25 mph the Low Tire Pressure Warning Lamp will illuminate when low tire pressure has been detected. After all tires have been inflated to the proper pressure and vehicle has been operated the warning lamp should turn off unless a fault in the Low Tire Pressure warning system has developed.
