- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove and discard propeller shaft sliding yoke bolts, nuts and washers.
- Remove and discard propeller shaft coupling bolts.
- Remove propeller shaft.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Lubricate sliding yoke with suitable transmission lubricant.
- Torque propeller shaft coupling to propeller shaft bolts to 13 ft. lbs. and then an additional 55°
- Torque propeller shaft yoke to propeller coupling bolts 13 ft. lbs. and then an additional 55°.
