- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove left side catalytic convertor.
- Remove connector position assurance retainer.
- Disconnect engine wiring harness electrical connector from heated oxygen sensor electrical connector.
- Remove HO2S from catalytic converter.
- Remove left side exhaust manifold heat shield bolts and heat shield.
- Remove catalytic converter to exhaust manifold nuts.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Support exhaust system.
- Remove catalytic converter to muffler nuts.
