- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Loosen clamp and detach air intake hose then unfasten hose clips.
- Release air cleaner housing with mass air flow sensor.
- Release quick-connect fastener on boost pressure pipe in direction of arrow.
- Remove air hose.
- Rotate or lift belt tensioner arm clockwise, using a suitable tool to relieve tension from drive belt.
- Remove drive belt.
- Remove bolt securing refrigerant line.
- Remove bolts securing A/C bracket holder.

- Connect suitable scan tool and retrieve any stored fault messages.
- Turn ignition switch to off position.
- Disconnect and isolate battery ground terminal.
- Remove charge-air duct.
- Remove alternator drive belt.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove tension strut cover by turning counterclockwise with suitable tool. If equipped with snap out cover use suitable tool and pry upwards to remove.
- Remove screw and grip grommet and pull out tension strut from righthand side of vehicle. Do not remove grommet from bulkhead to eliminate improper installation of grommet.
- Loosen clamp and disconnect connector from air intake hose.
- Release air intake hose and remove intake filter housing bolts then remove housing.
