- Install heater line quick connect release tool J 43181 to quick connect on outlet heater core hose.
- Close tool around inlet heater core hose.
- Firmly pull tool into quick connect end of heater hose.
- Firmly grasp heater hose.
- Pull heater hose forward in order to disengage hose from heater core.
- Position inlet heater hose clamp at engine block using hose clamp pliers GE-47622.
