TPMS Control Unit Or Sensor Replacement
To ensure the control unit memorizes the correct ID, the vehicle with the new sensor must be at least 10 ft. away from other vehicles that have tire pressure sensors.
- Place the ignition switch in Lock position.
- Connect Honda HDS or other suitable scan tool to the DLC (Data Link Connector) located under the LH side of the instrument panel.
- Place the ignition switch in the On position. Ensure the scan tool communicates with the TPMS control unit.

Removal
- Loosen the lug nuts.
- Raise and support vehicle with jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove the valve cap and core.
- Deflate the tire completely.
- Remove any balance weights.
- Prior to dismounting the tire from the wheel, note the following precautions:
- Do outside of wheel first.
- Position the bead breaking fixture 90 degrees from the valve stem when separating the tire bead from the wheel, Fig. .
