DRIVELINE, U-JOINT & CV AXLES REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2009 Hyundai Genesis AUTOMOBILES
Includes CV axle, universal joint, and driveline replacement, for domestic and imported 2009 Hyundai Genesis cars and light trucks from 1990+.
DRIVESHAFT, Replace
Vehicle: 2009 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 3.8 V6 GAS
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove wheel lug nuts.
- Remove brake caliper mounting bolts, and then place brake caliper assembly with wire.
- Remove split pin, then remove castle nut and washer from front hub.
- Washer should be assembled with convex surface outward when installing castle nut and split pin.
- Remove rear brake lining.
- Loosen trailing arm mount bolt & nut and than remove trailing arm.
- Loosen assist arm mount nut and than disconnect assist arm.
- Remove lower arm mount bolt and than remove lower arm.
