- Loosen axle shaft nut at hub.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove brake disc.
- Detach Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) sensor.
- Detach outer tie rod.
- Detach lower control arm from wheel knuckle.
- Remove axle shaft hub nut.
- Detach halfshaft from knuckle assembly, using hub puller tool No. 205-491, hub puller adapter tool No. 205-491-01 and flange remover forcing screw tool No. 204-269 or equivalents.
