- Disconnect battery ground cable at battery.
- Remove screws, open mounting clips and pull hose out of air filter housing.
- Disconnect electrical connection to free up line to air filter housing.
- Remove engine cover.
- Remove ground wire from starter mounting bolt.
- Remove upper starter mounting bolt.
- Slide protective cap downward from magnetic switch.
- Remove positive wire and disconnect harness of terminal 50.
