DRIVELINE, U-JOINT & CV AXLES REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2010 Acura RL AUTOMOBILES
CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace
Vehicle: 2010 Acura RL 3.7 V6 GAS
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Lift up locking tab on spindle nut then remove nut.
- Drain automatic transmission fluid, then reinstall drain plug using new washer.
- Hold stabilizer ball joint pin with hex wrench and remove flange nut then separate from stabilizer link from lower arm.
- Remove self-locking nut 12mm flange bolt and 100 flange bolt hen remove dampner fork.
- Remove knuckle holder bolt and hut.
- Remove exhaust pipe.
- Left driveshaft, pry inboard joint from transmission housing with a suitab...

Heater Hose, Replace -> Bypass -> Inlet -> Outlet

Inlet
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container by loosening drain plug of radiator.
- Reposition hose clamp at heater core.
- Remove hose from heater core.
- Reposition hose clamp at heater valve.
- Remove hose from heater valve.
- Remove hose from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install.
Outlet
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container by loosening drain plug of radiator.
