DRIVELINE, U-JOINT & CV AXLES REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2010 Honda Insight AUTOMOBILES
Includes CV axle, universal joint, and driveline replacement, for domestic and imported 2010 Honda Insight cars and light trucks from 1990+.
CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace
Vehicle: 2010 Honda Insight EX 1.3 L4 ELECTRIC/GAS
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove front wheel lug nuts .
- Pry up stake on spindle nut, then remove nut.
- Drain transmission fluid in a suitable container.
- Remove lock pin from lower ball joint then remove castle nut.
- Be careful not to damage the ball joint boot when installing the remover. Do not force or hammer on the lower arm, or pry between the lower arm and the knuckle. You could damage the ball joint.
