- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove engine under cover.
- Drain transmission fluid into a suitable container.
- Remove wheel lug nuts.
- Remove front axle hub nut.
- Remove bolt and separate speed sensor and flexible hose.
- Remove nut and separate stabilizer link from shock absorber.
- Remove cotter pin and castle nut from tie rod.
- Make sure upper ends of threaded section of tie rod end and SST (spacer B) are aligned.
- Separate tie rod end from front axle assembly.
