Remove coolant reservoir mounting bolt and move reservoir aside.
Remove upper engine torque rod and mounting bolts.
Remove cover over tensioner and mounting bolts.
Remove cover over idler pulley and mounting bolts.
Remove cover over tensioner and mounting bolts.
Disconnect engine ground cable from frame and move aside.
Disconnect power steering pressure line from power steering pump and move aside. Be prepared to collect escaping fluids.

Unsnap and remove battery box cover.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then positive cable.
Remove battery, surround, and mounting bolts .
Unsnap and remove engine cover.
Raise and support vehicle.
Remove engine splash shield and fasteners.
Loosen clamps and remove air outlet pipe.
Disconnect electrical connector from mass airflow (MAF) sensor.
Disconnect air inlet pipe from air cleaner.
Remove battery tray.
Remove power steering hose brackets and mounting nuts from A/C compressor.
Remove A/C compressor control unit from A/C compressor.
