Removal
- Dismount tire using suitable tire machine ensuring not to damage tire pressure sensor.
- Remove the Torx screw, then the tire pressure sensor.
- Release valve stem union nut using removal tool No. 00 2 190, or equivalent Fig. .
- Remove washer from wheel.
Installation
- Install new Torx screw on tire pressure sensor, then twist new valve stem by hand approximately three turns. Do not tighten Torx screw, sensor and valve stem must be loosely joined together.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove tension strut cover by removing rivet retainers. Pry upwards using suitable tool to remove strut cover taking care not to damage retaining lug.
- Remove tension strut panels by removing rivet retainers and lifting up on panels.
- Remove bolts securing tension strut then remove struts. Bolts must be replaced once removed because surface coating has been modified.
- Loosen clamp and disconnect connector from air intake hose.
- Disconnect connector and remove bolts from intake filter housing.
