- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Remove brake caliper bolts and support caliper to strut housing using mechanics wire.
- Remove disc brake rotor. If brake rotor is difficult to remove, drive 8mm bolt into threaded end of rotor, then remove the rotor. Reference mark surface of hub and disc rotor before removing disc rotor to prevent confusion during installation.

Removal
- Loosen the lug nuts.
- Raise and support vehicle with jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- Release the air pressure from the tire.
- Remove the tire pressure sensor retaining nut and drop the sensor into the tire and wheel assembly, Fig. .
- Using a suitable tire changer, remove the tire upper bead from the wheel, then lift out the tire pressure sensor.
