- Loosen brake light switch locknut, then back off switch until it breaks contact with brake pedal.
- Loosen pushrod locknut, then turn pushrod in or out as necessary until pedal height measures as follows:
- 6.10 inches (manual transaxle) 6.3 inches (automatic transaxle) on 1990-92 Integra models.
- 6.7 inches on 1990 Legend models, 8.4 inches on 1991-92 Legend models.

DESCRIPTION
Bleeding the hydraulic brake system is necessary if air has entered the system. A few causes for this condition are a low fluid level, a hydraulic fluid leak, a hydraulic line is opened or replacement of a hydraulic system component. Symptoms can be noted by an improper or loss of brake operation, and/or a low or spongy brake pedal.

On models equipped with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), disconnect and isolate battery ground cable before performing service. Failure to do so may result in accidental airbag deployment and personal injury.
All SRS electrical harnesses are covered with yellow outer insulation, with related components located in the steering column, center console, dash panel and front fenders. Do not use electrical test equipment on these circuits.
