FRONT
- Raise and support front of vehicle and remove wheels.
- Remove caliper pin bolt, then pivot caliper up away from pads.
- Remove brake pad shims and the pads, Figs. through .
- Clean caliper and inspect for excessive wear or damage.
- Install pad retainers, then the pad shims and pads, Figs. through .
- Back out bleed screw and push in piston to allow caliper to fit over pads, then tighten bleed screw.
- Pivot caliper into position, then install pin bolt and torque to specifications.

- Raise and support rear of vehicle and remove wheels.

Driveshaft
- Raise and support front of vehicle.
- Remove front wheel, then drain transaxle fluid into a suitable container. If removing left driveshaft only, it is not necessary to drain transaxle.
- Raise spindle nut lock tab and remove nut.
- Remove damper fork bolt and pinch bolt, then damper fork.
- Remove steering knuckle to lower control arm castellated nut cotter pin and nut.
- Separate lower control arm from steering knuckle using a suitable puller.
- Pull steering knuckle outward and tap driveshaft outboard joint from steering knuckle.

- Loosen alternator nut and through bolt.
- Loosen alternator adjusting bolt to relieve belt tension.
- Remove alternator drive belt.
- Clean and inspect belt surfaces of all pulleys.
