- Remove lockpin bolt, Fig. through .
- Lift up caliper body, using the guide pin bolt as a fulcrum. Use wire to suspend the caliper.
- Remove inner and outer shims, pad assemblies, and pad clips from caliper support.
- Measure hub torque, using suitable spring scale, to determine brake drag torque after pan installation, Fig. .

When overhauling master cylinder refer to Figs. through . Note the position of all parts as they are removed for proper installation.
- On models with attached reservoirs, remove reservoir installation screw, reservoir cap, brake fluid sensor, float, then reservoir, Figs. and .
